Ag inc.
December 2019 // installation // muslin, wax, thread, steel, water, brood lamps
Ag Inc. is an installation about industrial farming and its environmental and social impacts. The pigs are life sized and hand stitched together. Inside each pig a plastic bag of water, which drips through the bags along the inside of the pig and out of the face into the steel trough below. The troughs are open on the sides so the water flows directly onto the floor. As the water drips, it makes pattering sounds onto the steel and mixes with the layer of oil lubricant, releasing an industrial smell into the air and leaving rust spots behind.
